This conference proposes to explore the phenomenon of macrocriminality, understood here as the systematic
violation of human rights by organized entities, often made possible or directly perpetrated by state actors.
Macrocriminality encompasses a wide range of offenses, including the most serious international crimes
(genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and the crime of aggression), as well as organized crime,
terrorism, and violence related to migration control practices. These crimes, often transnational, challenge
traditional legal frameworks and justice mechanisms and call for institutional cooperation and societal
engagement.
